Service

Because we believe giving back is important and beneficial for all who are involved, each woman is required to do fifteen hours of service work each semester.

 

The fifteen hours are partly made up of philanthropic hours earned by donating goods, participating in other philanthropic events, etc. The remaining hours are community service hours which can be earned through activities such as volunteering, tutoring, or  clean-up projects.

The women of AOII were extremely excited for our new philanthropic event! On Saturday, March 1st, Alpha Omicron Pi hosted Dodgeball Day 2008 in Irving Gym to raise money for arthritis and dystonia. Thank you to all who participated, and we look forward to next year’s event!
